Getting A file on your Agenda VR3

To get a file on you Agenda VR3 you use rsync. A lot of distrbustions have rsync. To find the usage and commands that can be used with rsync type in:

man rsync

To copy a file over to your Agenda (your agenda must be connect to your computer, if it is not do so now) , simpily type:

rsync localfilename default@10.1.1.2::root/home/default/remotefilename

Where it says default@10.1.1.2 assumes that the IP number of your agenda is 10.1.1.2 (When you connect to your computer at the end of the small little log at network, direct serial it should say your IP Number). And the ::root part may be as is or ::default . Now pick the file you want to rsync by changing localfilename to the name of your file then change remotefilename to the name you want the file to be on your agenda.(The /home/default/ part can be any directory you want) Then goto your agenda and select terminal in the VR Menu, type in:

ls

Then it should list the files there and you should see the file you transfered.
